How to spot a hacker or scammer

- They come right out and ask for your password to give you a makeover or top up.
- They tell you to change your e-mail to receive free hotbuys, rares or stardollars. Don't do this! As soon as you do, a confirmation is sent to their account. If they click the link, they will have full access to your account.
- They tell you they have the employee code. The employee code is false. It's just a way to make people think about all the great features they get; it's not great. It's not true; it's a way to hack. Honestly, if they did have the employee code, they'd be an employee with tonnes of starpoints.

Proxy Safety:
A proxy is a website lots of members on Stardoll use to get free items. You don't know who actually made the proxy and if they store your password. It's not worth losing your account, hotbuys, rares, famous brands starcoins and stardollars for a stupid piece of clothing, yes, free is nice but also risky.
If a close friend on Stardoll asks you for your password, don't immediately think their a hacker, but don't immediately accept. Ask them for references (Also called 'refs'.) and ask the doll that they made-over if they hacked. There is also a thick chance that the references are fake. This means, a reference is a fake account of their own.
